Xie Pieqi – Yin Style Bagua BearThe Bear system belongs to the Gen trigram, which is the youngest of the Yang trigrams. As such, it is very strong, but does not fight in a dominant manner. It is the art of snatching victory from defeat, attacking from a retreat, or fooling an opponent by being seemingly simple. It is ideally suited for people who are strong, large in frame (though not necessarily in height) or stocky/heavy and are capable of using their body weight to advantage. A generalization is that the Bear uses a heavy, rotating force to neutralize the opponent while attacking from an unexpected direction. This intensive training series features Foundation Practices as well as the Rushing, Penetrating, Withdrawing, Carrying, Leaning, Shocking, Soft and Following Strike Attack Methods.Course CurriculumBear System 01 Strengthening PosturesIntroduction and Background of YSB (3:46)Introduction to Bear System (6:47)Strengthening Postures Introduction (4:49)Bear Representative Posture (12:12)Rushing Strike Posture (7:47)Penetrating Strike Posture (8:50)Withdrawing Strike Strengthening Posture (9:44)Carrying Strike Postures (8:25)Leaning Strike Posture (10:16)Shocking Strike Postures (9:09)Soft Strike Postures (10:07)Following Strike Posture (10:09)Turning Circle Requirements (10:47)Basic Turning (2:32)Covering Rushing Direction Change (5:51)Continuous Rushing Direction Change (6:14)Soft Following Direction Change (6:42)Understanding the moves (13:26)Bear System 02 Strike Training MethodsStrike Training Methods Introduction (18:13)Stamping Rushing Strikes (15:40)Upper Penetrating Strikes (15:57)Shoulder Leaning Strikes (14:13)Turning Shocking Strikes (16:17)Grinding Soft Strike (16:48)Covering Drilling Strikes (18:38)Bear System 03 Interlocking Rushing StrikesUnderstanding the Moves (13:26)Moving With the Force Palm (14:01)Holding & Lifting Palm (14:37)Windmill Palm (14:01)Lying Step Palm (14:43)Reversing the Body Palm (17:19)Enfolding Palm (16:17)Bear System 04 Interlocking Penetrating StrikesUnderstanding the Moves (14:24)Moving With the Force Penetrating Strike (14:38)Lifting & Holding Penetrating Strike (16:20)Windmill Penetrating Strike (16:15)Lying Step Palm (14:48)Reversing the Body Penetrating Strike (14:12)Unfolding Penetrating Strike (15:30)Bear System 05 Withdrawing Strike FormsUnderstanding the Moves (17:20)Moving with the Force Withdrawing Strikes (15:43)Lifting & Holding Withdrawing Strikes (17:08)Windmill Withdrawing Strikes (18:47)Lying Step Withdrawing Strikes (14:28)Reversing the Body Withdrawing Strikes (16:52)Enfolding Withdrawing Strikes (14:23)Bear System 06 Carrying StrikesUnderstanding the Moves (14:56)Moving with the Force Carrying Strikes (14:15)Lifting & Holding Carrying Strikes (13:55)Windmill Carrying Strikes (14:59)Lying Step Carrying Strikes (14:37)Reversing the Body Carrying Strikes (14:55)Enfolding Palm Carrying Strikes (14:49)Bear System 07 Leaning StrikesUnderstanding the Moves (13:48)Moving with the Force Leaning Strikes (13:54)Holding & Lifting Leaning Strikes (15:23)Windmill Leaning Strikes (14:34)Lying Step Leaning Strikes (13:58)Reversing the Body Leaning Strikes (15:22)Enfolding Leaning Strikes (14:44)Bear System 08 Shocking StrikesInterlocking Shocking Strikes (14:23)Moving With The Force Shocking Form (14:23)Lifting & Holding Shocking Strikes (15:38)Windmill Shocking Form (14:45)Lying Step Shocking Form (14:36)Reversing the Body Shocking Form (15:46)Enfolding Shocking Form (15:53)Bear System 09 Soft StrikesInterlocking Soft Strikes (15:05)Moving with the Force Soft Strikes (16:37)Lifting & Holding Soft Strikes (15:07)Windmill Soft Strikes (16:45)Lying Step Soft Strikes (16:53)Reversing the Body Soft Strikes (17:05)Enfolding Soft Strikes (17:27)Bear System 10 The Following StrikesInterlocking Palm Following Strikes (16:58)Moving With the Force Following Strikes (16:22)Holding & Lifting Following Strikes (17:30)Windmill Following Strikes (16:12)Lying Step Following Strike (15:22)Reversing the Body Following Strikes (17:12)Enfolding Following Strikes (17:20)Your InstructorXie PieqiChosen at age 13 to be the final student of Men Baozhen, the direct student of Yin Fu, for whom the Chinese art of Yin Style Bagua was named after.
