Dr. Stroud attended Valparaiso University, majoring in chemistry, biology, and psychology. She graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois, in 1997. Dr. Stroud attended pediatric residency training at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. After graduating in 2000, she began her career as a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician at the University of Missouri. She is board certified in General Pediatrics and Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Stroud is the division director of the University of Missouri Child Health Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Program.  She orchestrates and participates in numerous multidisciplinary clinics, including the special needs clinic, NICU follow-up clinic, clinic for children with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome clinic, autism clinics, general developmental clinics,  craniofacial clinic, and 22 q 11 deletion clinic. Dr. Stroud is a HUB team member on three ECHO programs: Child Psychiatry, Sleep, and Head Start.
