We have access to intelligent, skilled and friendly TD reps 24 hours a day. (Seriously, we called at about 11 pm the other evening and had a wonderful conversation with one of their reps!) There is also secured messaging if you prefer to email TD. TD Ameritrade also has 24 hour trading now. The stocks that are available after 8pm (which is normally when extended hours trading ends) are limited. But you can trade stocks like $SPY, $QQQ, $GLD and $USO 24 hours a day. This is a big advantage over some platforms,  because news often will break at night (when you may feel like trading on your schedule) and you can trade the news!
