His former military experience afforded him the opportunity to return to the U.S. Army and serve in the J.A.G. Corps as a defense attorney and Summary Court Military Judge while stationed in Savannah, Georgia.In 1976, Mike established his own law firm in Chillicothe, Missouri and remained there for 27 years. During that time, he gained experience in the areas of family law, criminal defense, bankruptcy, probate, real estate, farm and agricultural matters and served as city attorney.In 2003, Mike and Marilyn returned to the St. Louis area in order to care for aging parents.
