It’s okay, I’m glad that you asked: The person who didn’t like it said “I had no idea it would be this detailed on the basics. I guess if you didn’t know anything about 2-step it would be perfect, but we’re already dancers. Even though we were bored for a lot of it, we also picked up a number of things we’d never heard before and really liked the practice drills.” So, I guess that’s not a fan. 🙂 The best news for this guy? We’re about to release our next set of DVDs, one that is geared towards people who can 2-Step and want to take it up one notch.
If you want 2 be the best,-Step dancers out there, invest some time in this series.
My take: I just finished watching all the final versions, and I am completely satisfied. This is the 3rd time that we have done a beginner 2.-Step We did a dance video and it was flawless. What is unique about this set? We taught the lessons as if it were the ONLY 2-step dance lessons you’d ever take. That said, we made sure to cover all the ‘little’ things and give you all the practice time that you’d need (we now know that telling someone to practice & practicing with them are two VERY different things – in these DVDs, we make sure you get it!
We assume you have no knowledge of 2-Step and teach you how dance step-By-Step by step until the idea is clear in your mind. I don’t mean doing the same thing over and again in a boring, monotonous manner. I mean mixing it up, returning to the concepts you just learned, reviewing, adding new material, practicing, giving drills, etc. If you have never danced the 2-These DVDs are great for anyone who is a beginner or steps ahead.
