Richard Louis DonTigny – Quick, Effective SI Joint/Low Back Pain Assessment & Treatment
Quick, Effective SI Joint/Low Back Pain Assessment & Treatment
The DonTigny Manual Therapy Approach
This is an in-depth course for physical and occupational therapists, physicians and osteopaths. This presentation provides an extensive critical analysis of the pelvis and sacroiliac (SI) joints and the role that they play in low back pain. The strength of this course, however, is the demonstration on real patients of how to use a variety of techniques to get quick effective pain relief. In addition, there are interactive segments including a tutorial practice section and test your knowledge videos.
Numerous detailed illustrations will help the participant establish a sound anatomical and biomechanical rationale for the appropriate evaluation, testing and treatment of low back pain and pelvic pain with special emphasis on the sacroiliac joints.
The participant will be lead step by step through the anatomy and functional biomechanics of the sacroiliac joints including function during normal gait. Participants will learn hands-on techniques for the immediate relief of common low back pain.
What participants are saying . . .
“I would highly recommend this course as an excellent way to address SIJ/LBP. The teaching technique and patient interactions make the information very learnable. Carol’s interaction with Richard was great and she asked the same questions I would have asked and clarified at points I would have as well.â€
“A course providing information that will make a difference in your treatments and success immediatelyâ€
“In depth look at SIJ dysfunction using a specific treatment technique that visibly improves patients issues in this area very quickly.â€
“I would say everyone should take this course because it doesn’t take much time to assess properly and the treatment is effectiveâ€
