Learn how to produce a high-quality, professional-sounding show with a small team or a small budgetPodcasting is my favorite thingIn May 2018, I launched my first podcast. It’s called upside, and it’s still going strong! My cohost and I have published a new episode every week for the last 2.5 years.130,000+ downloads with upsideThe show has had its ups and downs. For a time, we published twice per week which led to a spike in total downloads.Fortune recognized the show as a “Top Business Podcast” and Business Insider called it “Almost as Good as an MBA.”I took those lessons to launch Creative ElementsI loved producing upside so much that I wanted to create a second show. And, long story short, that show became Creative Elements. On Creative Elements, I dive into the story behind how your favorite creators broke through and made a living from their art and creativity. We discuss the specific elements of their personality, style, or approach that have helped them thrive: elements like focus, vulnerability, revision, and constraints.I’ve been lucky to interview 30+ creators so far, including…‍The show has grown like crazy!Using what I’ve learned, Creative Elements has already surpassed the number of total downloads for upside. As of December 2020, the show has broken 350,000 total downloads in its first 9 months. Now I want to help you.‍One of the most frequent questions I’m asked is how I got these results and how I make the show sound so good.‍I put a ton of work into Creative Elements. I’m very proud of it. My goal is to create a show that sounds as good as something on NPR or Gimlet.‍But…I’m just one guy. I don’t have the skills or resources that those big shows have. So I’ve learned to adapt and do the best that I can with what I have. I don’t spend a ton of money on production, but the show sounds really, really good.A little bit about my process…For every episode of my show, I’m concerned with telling a good story. Good stories have a narrative arch, every bit of the story is purposeful, and it is engaging. Most interviews don’t sound like that out-of-the-box. So I spend a lot of time reorganizing, cutting, scripting, recording voiceover, and pulling in external audio. In this course, I walk you through how I think about those creative decisions and how I do it all in ~5 hours of work.Who this course is forThere are a lot of great courses out there about starting and launching a podcast. There are probably courses out there that do a great job of teaching you how to get sponsorship or how to market your show. This course is built specifically for people who want to produce a high-quality, professional-sounding show with a very small team and/or a tight budget.‍People are saying very nice things.‍I’ve started with a couple presentations on producing my podcast to Creative Mornings for their Virtual FieldTrips and they have gotten incredible reviews. So I decided to turn that 45-minute presentation into a 5-hour course.‍On October 22, I launched this course as a presale to ensure there was genuine interest. I told my subscribers that I’d only create the course if at least 10 people preordered it.‍On October 24, we crossed the 10 order mark. And to date, more than 40 people have enrolled.‍I delivered the finished course to course students on Dec. 2.‍Now they are saying great things too!Get Podcast Like The Pros – Jay Clouse, Only Price $59Tag: Podcast Like The Pros – Jay Clouse Review.
