Cheney, DO Related seminars and products: 1 Dr. Cheney is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle surgery.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University, where he also served as team captain of the varsity men’s swim team.  Following graduation, Dr. Cheney attended medical school at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and served for a number of years as a phase IV clinical instructor.Dr. Cheney completed both his internship and orthopedic residency at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  Following his residency, he completed a foot and ankle fellowship with the Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  His practice emphasis includes ankle arthroplasty, heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, fractures, and foot/ankle sport injuries.  In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Cheney currently serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a Foot & Ankle Clinical Reviewer for Orthopedics, a peer-reviewed journal covering all aspects of adult and pediatric orthopedic surgery and treatment.
