In this course, Nick will discuss the importance of motivation science within the context of a training system. Nick will place specific emphasis on theories of motivation and provide evidence supporting the effect of motivation on motor learning. Nick will then present a 3 component motivation model based on optimizing athlete/client perception of autonomy, competence, and relatedness.
