Applying the daily practices of Qigong, you’ll learn to better prevent disease and develop the foundations for lasting, radiant wellbeing. You’ll also experience more connection and inner peace and a feeling of wholeness.
This course provides the joyful enthusiasm of Master Gu’s teachings together with the robust multi-media practice tools — including video, audio and text — needed for every student to start and maintain a personal practice.
To learn this healing practice, you’ll listen to the course presentations and follow along with the guided video and audio practices during class. Your personal practice is further supported by the video/audio practice sessions and materials available 24/7 at the class portal.
No prior experience with Qigong or energy practices is needed to participate in this course. Wisdom Healing Qigong is suitable for all ages and abilities and can be done sitting, standing or lying down. This form is highly supportive and compatible with other energy practices as well, including yoga, tai chi, acupuncture and meditative practices. Comfortable clothes are recommended, but special exercise clothes or mats are not needed.
WHAT YOU’LL DISCOVER IN THESE 7 WEEKS

During the 7-week program, Master Mingtong Gu will joyfully guide you through the role of Qi energy and how to connect heart, mind and body to cultivate abundant Qi flow for your health, healing and daily life. Master Gu has selected Wisdom Healing Qigong teachings focused on energy abundance, and will guide you in the steps to explore this powerful Qigong lineage and to create your own Qigong practice for energy abundance.
Each weekly class session will build harmoniously upon the next and will include a pre-recorded video presentation by Mingtong Gu featuring the teachings, demonstrations, and/or guided movements, meditations and visualizations for that week. You can practice along with Master Gu as he demonstrates these practices and return to the recorded version when the class is over to maintain your practice.
Each video presentation will be followed by a LIVE Q&A session with Master Gu — a favorite feature! The Q&A invites students to communicate directly with this renowned master and to receive support for incorporating these teachings into their personal practice.
Practice Component: The deep benefits of Qigong come from practicing the sounds, movements and meditations yourself, so you can feel and experience their transformative effects. Each weekly session will help you to develop a practice of your own. Qigong for Abundant Energy & Health is appropriate for all ages and abilities and does not require special clothing or exercise equipment. If you are unable to attend live, you’ll receive class recordings, transcripts and supplemental materials so you can still experience the full benefits of the program.
MODULE 1: CULTIVATING ENERGY THROUGH WISDOM HEALING QIGONG (NOVEMBER 22)

How can we cultivate greater energy to heal our body, mind and heart? Master Mingtong Gu will explore the role of opening up our energy, reestablishing our baseline and reshaping our capacity for greater health, happiness and creativity for ourselves and others. Instead of the mind thinking one thing, the body behaving in a contrary way and the heart feeling something altogether different from both, you’ll discover how Qigong provides alignment of and connection with the deep energy flow within and around you. When you access abundant energy, you’re better prepared to live your life and care for your health challenges. This session invites you to start or deepen a personal practice for abundance.

Experience a Qigong meditation for stress relief
Explore the powerful lineage of Wisdom Healing Qigong and the 3 A’s to integrate and open connections of mind, body and heart
Gain insight into how stress and worry are closing down your access to energy and causing energy blockages
Discover a Spinal Bone Marrow practice from Wisdom Healing Qigong to help release the Qi blockages in the back and spine
Learn Qigong fundamentals and how course materials, including the ebook and other bonus materials can support your learning and practice

MODULE 2: OPENING YOUR HEART TO A CLEAR & PURE PURPOSE (NOVEMBER 29)

MODULE 5: GATHERING ABUNDANT ENERGY (JANUARY 3)

With the pace and stress of modern living, we can lose connection with the life energy that flows around and within us. We can become isolated, disconnected from our inner selves, families, environment and the universal life force. This week, you’ll discover a key practice for circulating Qi (life force energy) by gathering this energy to flow within you and back out to the world. This practice is especially helpful for people challenged by chronic or acute conditions, emotional depletion, and/or who care for others as a caretaker, health professional or parent.
In this module, you’ll:
Discover how to connect to internal energy with external universal energy through movement and the gathering of energetic flow
Gather and expand Qi to release blockages and stagnations to promote healing and wellbeing
Expand your awareness and connection to life around you by practicing a balanced standing posture for the intentional gathering of life energy

MODULE 6: DIGESTING ABUNDANT ENERGY WITH CENTEREDNESS (JANUARY 10)

This week, you’ll be invited to bring discernment into your life, so you can better open to releasing old habits that no longer serve you. Unhealthy choices drain our vitality and block true comfort on a physical and energetic level.

Discover the Qigong healing sounds for the digestion system, which help release worry and awaken centeredness and thoughtfulness

In this final module, you’ll integrate Master Gu’s teachings on Abundance Energy and the threads of the physical, emotional, and spiritual abundance.
