Her OT practice has included early intervention, school-based, clinic-based, in-home and residential settings. She specializes in sensory processing issues, autism, and twice exceptional children. Recently, she has married her occupational therapy experience and masters of social welfare degree by developing programs for non-profit organizations that provide both mental health and rehabilitation services for children and adolescents. Mim has also taught Pediatric OT Theory and Adolescent Conditions in Mental Health in the MSOT program at California State University – Dominguez Hills.
