Prior to arrival in Iowa, she worked as a forensic pathologist in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Dr. Catellier is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic, Clinical, and Forensic Pathology, and also achieved recertification in these areas. Particular areas of forensic interest include child death and child abuse, elder abuse, and asphyxia/strangulation. Dr. Catellier is a member of the Iowa Child Death Review Committee and Iowa Violent Death Review Committee.
