He completed his medical residency in Family and Community Medicine at Truman Medical Centers. Currently, he works for Meritas Health in North Kansas City, where he practices family medicine. Dr. Brown has held many positions within the American Osteopathic Association and the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, and currently serves on the MAOPS board where he holds the office of President-Elect. David Tannehill, DO, FACOI, FACP Related seminars and products: 3 Dr. David Tannehill is currently the Clinical Director of Critical Care Medicine for Mercy Clinic in St. Louis, Missouri.  He is a Past-President of the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons (MAOPS) and a Past-President and current member of the Missouri Board of Professional Registration for the Healing Arts. Dr. Tannehill is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at Saint Louis University.   During his time at Mercy Clinic and Mercy Virtual, he has won multiple awards for teaching excellence. He has held an integral role in developing Mercy’s Sepsis program. His leadership has helped develop the Missouri Medical Board and the approach to telemedicine and physician wellness that MAOPS has adopted. He is a 1998 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and a 2005 graduate of AT Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCOM) in Kirksville, Missouri.
