First I will explain how the billing and coding system works with the goal that on completion everyone can legally and ethically maximize their E&M billing. Second, we will review modifiers and how they can be used to ensure proper billing.Every year CMS published proposed and then final changes to the billing and coding system and every year I publish updates to the lecture to include these changes.
