Description of Scann for success part 3 cting Information From The Market
The Wyck Analytics team is proud to present Scan for Success Part 3, a Wyck scanning and filtering course with John Colucci “Johniscan” and Roman Bogomazov.
This course is a continuation of the popular Scan for Success series.  This series will present all-new material focused on scanning skills, syntax troubleshooting, compound scanning and alerts through Stockcharts.com.
Scanning Part 3 will focus on the process of developing scans to extract information from the market.  Students will examine charts and scan syntax to develop methods of extracting and organizing market-generated information.  There will be a detailed syntax examination along with analysis of alternative routes to identification of Wyck structural elements.  The role of select indicators in generating Wyck structural scans will also be reviewed.  Scan well, trade better!
About Instructor
From the early days as a corporate bankruptcy and insolvency attorney, John Colucci perused financial statements, budgets and cash flow projections to determine the feasibility of financial plans presented to creditors. After early training in forensic financial analysis and fraud detection, Mr. Colucci took an interest in stock market investing from a fundamental perspective. After a series of hard-taught lessons beginning in 1987, technical analysis became a bigger focus for investment analysis.
After working through the quasi fundamental/technical system developed by William J. O’Neil, Mr. Colucci’s Wyckian journey began with the search for meaning in the phrase, “the stock is under accumulation.” After numerous books, blog articles, courses and special events with many of the great Wyckian’s of our time, Mr. Colucci is primarily a long/short technical stock and futures trader using Wyckian principles–with an occasional financial statement sojourn to celebrate old times. Scanning and filtering are particular passions.
He authors the Wyck Market Report, the Wyck Structural Scanning blog and has taught the special topic courses Look Less, See More and Scan For Success Part 1 , Part 2 and Part 3. John was the host and a presenter at the Best of Wyck 2021 Online Conference and is a frequent contributor on the Wyck Market Discussion.
