He has most recently served as the Emergency Department Director for the VA Maine Healthcare System. He previously served as the Director of Medical Education for the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.Dr. Kase serves as the AOA’s Chair of the Council on State Health Affairs. He is also a Past-President of the Maine Osteopathic Association, and serves as the Chair of the Maine delegation to the AOA House of Delegates.A graduate of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Kase completed a family medicine residency as well as an academic fellowship in obstetrics through the teaching hospitals of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
