With a primary focus on business, Jared Bauman provides the professional photographer community with education and leadership. As the acknowledged expert in pricing strategies, he has toured the world helping photo entrepreneurs maximize their profits through his Clear and Simple Pricing model. Those who haven’t been able to attend one of Jared’s presentations can benefit from his series of instructional DVDs, designed to provide a full range of resources to build a successfully profitable photography business.
In 2002, Jared created Bauman Photographers, a Southern California photography studio that now produces over 75 weddings and 1,000 corporate head-shots annually. Bauman Photographers has established itself as one of the most successful examples of a customer-focused associate model, and after 11 years of profitable growth, Jard sold Bauman Photographers in 2012. Jared is also Co-Founder and President of ShootDotEdit, the Industry’s premium post processing company for professional Wedding photographers worldwide, currently partnering with over 6,000 photographers in over 45 countries.
Jared lives in San Diego, California with his wife Sara and their Boston terrier, Maddie. A good cappuccino and the Wall Street Journal are his perfect morning; a hike through a national park are his perfect afternoon; and a small gathering of friends and a (big) sip of Bourbon are his perfect evening. His dreams are filled with hope that his San Diego Chargers will someday win a Super Bowl.
