I was first introduced to this submission by my friend Mikey Musumeci in 2018, and since then I have hit this submission at the highest level of competition.In this instructional, I make a clear differentiation between the ankle lock and the footlock. I also show the variation which i like to call the Doederlock! I truly believe the footlock is a powerful submission, similar to any joint like an armbar. The breaking and adjusting mechanics are not as commonly known, so most people find it hard to finish.In this course, I will not only show you how to perfect this submission, but also how to play the footlock as a guard as well!
