ABOUT EDWARD ABRAMSON, Ph.D.
Edward Abramson, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist, Professor Emeritus at California State University, and former director of the Eating Disorders Center at Chico Community Hospital. He is the author of five books including, It’s NOT Just Baby Fat!: 10 Steps to Help Your Child to a Healthy Weight which was released in January of 2011. Dr. Abramson has appeared on dozens of television and radio programs including 20/20, Hard Copy, and Joan Rivers. He is routinely quoted in publications including The New York Times, Good Housekeeping, O, The Oprah Magazine, The Washington Post, and US Weekly.
