He grew up in Coralville Iowa before completing his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Iowa in 2010 and 2014 respectively. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University ofNew Mexico in 2017 before completing one year as chief resident in 2018. He then moved to Cleveland, OH where he completed his primary care sports medicine fellowship at University Hospitals/Rainbow Babies and Children in 2019 treating patients and athletes of all ages while working with local high schools, Kent State University, and the Cleveland Browns.After completing fellowship, he moved to the Des Moines area and started a sports medicine practice with MercyOne in November 2019. He combines his sports practice with being medical director of the pediatric urgent care.Dr. Reynolds specializes in musculoskeletal complaints, diagnostic ultrasound, and concussion management with associated return-to-play decisions.
