Description
Porn addiction is becoming an epidemic. The statistics overwhelm us. And yet the DSM-5™ does not recognize this crippling emotional issue.
It is likely that you were not trained to deal with this – and being unprepared could cause you to fall short of helping your clients and their loved ones. For these reasons, it’s vital you watch this 3-hour training to learn how to identify, assess and create treatment plans that are proven to work.
Porn addiction can be very hard to identify and treat – and it can be uncomfortable to discuss with a client. This program will provide you with a proven start-to-finish plan for addressing these challenging cases.
You’ll get step-by-step guidance on how to:
Get to the root of why someone becomes addicted to porn
Understand the relationship between trauma and sex-related addictions
Reduce the shame a client has related to porn addiction
Recognize how this hidden addiction presents itself as other common client problems
Correctly question/interview the client to assess for addiction and severity
Implement long-term strategies that go beyond sobriety to treat the root cause and help heal the partner and family
