OVERVIEW
The best climbers tackle both boulder problems and routes with explosive, dynamic power that relies more on momentum, precision timing, and more on their legs and core than on brute finger or pull-up strength. In this course, professional climber Carlo Traversi will teach climbers of all levels how to move dynamically, which will radically change the way you approach climbing. Plus, there’s a good chance you’ll wow other climbers with your dyno style.
You’ll Learn

How and when to control the target hold and time your landing
Strengthening exercises you can do to make dynamic movement more effortless
Specific dynamic moves you can try at the gym or the crag

Carlo Traversi

Carlo Traversi is a professional rock climber based in Santa Rosa, California. He learned to climb in the Sierra Nevada mountains in high school, then moved to Boulder, Colorado, to focus on bouldering. He was the first person to complete the Triple 14 Challenge in Colorado (a V14, a 5.14, and a fourteener in the same day). He holds several first ascents, including The Kingdom, a V15/8C in Brione, Switzerland, and Mask Off, a 5.14 at the Fortress of Solitude in Colorado.
Traversi is also a photographer and filmmaker. He has produced four feature-length films and over 100 short films. In 2018, Traversi opened his first climbing gym, The Boulder Field, in Sacramento, California, where he now lives. It’s one of the largest bouldering gyms in the world.
