Bruce Frantzis – Virtual Summer Training Camp 2023
Hi Folks,
All of life is in constant flow and motion. No matter what you do or where you go…you have a body. You have a mind. You have a spirit.
For millennia Daoist adepts have been well known for their ability to integrate the various aspects of the mind, body, and spirit (three treasures) together to generate profound positive change. It’s the root of health, strength, and feeling more alive and balanced, and the central way to do that is through feeling the blockages throughout these aspects. Daoist meditation can take many forms, but a unique and central part of the Daoist Water Tradition is resolving physical and energetic blockages in the body through the process of dissolving. Our summer events this year are designed to help you to do just that.
Summer is a time of fullness and possibility. It’s when not only nature is expressing itself fully, but the energy within you is doing the same. This makes it a perfect time to set a new trajectory and learn new skills.
Traditionally, that’s one of the reasons why the worldwide Energy Arts community gathers together to train intensively each summer.
Yet many areas of the world are struggling hard financially, making travel difficult. So we’re thankful that we can make this year’s training available to you online where you can join in virtually, as if you were right here in the Energy Arts Training Center, from wherever you are in the world.
Just like keeping the continuity inside of our community in the face of uncertainty and change is important, doing the same in your own practice and life is truly beneficial.
The focus of this year’s retreat will be infusing Daoist meditation into the practices of qigong and tai chi to give practitioners an opportunity to learn the deeper levels of Daoist meditation and have a smoother and calmer form. These are essential qualities for beginning and advanced students alike.
Here is what we’ll be covering together…
June 10-11, 2023:
Deep Body and Mind Awareness while practicing is the first step in the Daoist Dissolving process in Tai Chi and Qigong. This inagural weekend will expand your physical sensitivity into your mind and emotions going into your energy channels.
June 17-18, 2023:
Recognizing Blockages and how the deeper levels of your body are vibrating. Here you will start to learn how to dissolve blockages.
June 24-25, 2023:
Using Vibrations to go deeper into the dissolving method. Here you will learn the advanced dissolving techniques of creating and utilizing existing vibrations in your body to resolve deeper energetic blockages.
Plus Guided Practices Sessions: Guided follow-up sessions are included each week to review and absorb what you learned during the previous weekend workshop. Led by Senior Instructors.
Each week, you will receive lessons from our expert trainers and guest faculty. When you take the course, you’ll get recordings and lifetime access.
Meditation is at the root of all the internal arts. Whether qigong, tai chi, bagua, or related arts: it’s the source code from which they sprang.
From a Daoist perspective, not only can these practices integrate, but they DO each and every moment of your existence. Your life happens while moving. Your meditation can too. Doing so is a specialty of our Daoist lineage.
Learning meditation enriches and informs all of your internal practices, and more importantly your experience of life. It doesn’t have to be something mysterious and beyond you, it’s something that anyone with a mind can learn to do and benefit from whether you’re simply trying to find more balance and healthy emotions, or if you’re drawn to exploring the depth of your being.
We’re going to have a rewarding time immersing ourselves into these arts this summer, and I’d like to extend a warm invitation for you to join us.
See you soon,
Bruce
Summer Curriculum
June 10-11
Achieving Deep Body and Mind Awareness in your Tai Chi and Qigong Practice.
Learn how to feel and recognize what you’re experiencing in body, mind, and your deeper energy channels. Practicing this is the first step in the Daoist Dissolving process in Tai Chi and Qigong. In this process of expanding your inner awareness, you will begin to feel what’s happening inside your body and mind (examples: traumas, false confidence, and anxiety among other blockages produce different results in terms of what’s happening deep inside you).

Recognizing Blockages and feeling vibration through the deeper layers of you body.
Recognize what is blocked inside you and the differences between these blockages. Dissolving your energetic blockages is an integral part of Daoist meditation and a successful path to emotional and physical well-being. How do you recognize when you feel attacked? When you feel fearful? Many of these feelings are tied to blockages that will be hidden at the emotional and mental level. As you begin to discover and discern the blockages within you, you will also begin to connect with the natural vibrations inside your body.
