He has been involved in clinical anatomy training for over 20 years, conducted research in non-human primate behavior and morphology and in clinical sciences including studies of knee ligament mechanics. In 2016, he became the interim chair-person for the department of Anatomy at Kansas City University (KCU) and in 2018 became the permanent chair.
