Much of his cardiac experience has been working with patients’ post-coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repair, and valve replacement surgeries in the CVICU setting. Mr. O’Connor received his master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University and has served as a Cardiopulmonary Clinical Specialist with the APTA since 2003. Mr. O’Connor lectured at the University of Delaware graduate physical therapy program and is an adjunct professor in cardiopulmonary physical therapy at Drexel University and the University of Sciences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
