This virtual training camp filmed from Energy Arts Training Center is about integrating your nervous system and your spine…making both of them stronger, more relaxed, connected, energetically alive, and pain-free.
Your spine is at the core of everything that you do. It’s your structure and support, literally the “backbone” of your life and practice.
I developed this comprehensive program based upon Bend the Bow Spinal Qigong and rarely taught aspects of the 16-Neigong. In it you will learn how to mobilize the vertebrae and relax the nervous system to create robust health, vibrant qi (chi), and superior mental and physical performance.
The training will combine recordings of four consecutive weekends containing concentrated learning, with follow-up guided training sessions in between to help you develop the infrastructure to support and embody this profound internal technology.

Bend the Bow Spinal Qigong combining all previous lessons. You’ll learn how to use qi to relax your nervous system, heal your back, and make your spine stronger and more flexible for increased physical and mental performance.
Each weekend is already available, where you will receive lessons by our expert trainers and guest faculty. All recordings are downloadable for lifetime access.
Up to this point, Bend the Bow Qigong has been exclusively limited to in-person training. This will be the first time ever that I have made a remote learning opportunity available for this powerful set.

MEET YOUR TRAINING CAMP INSTRUCTORS
Bruce Frantzis
Bruce Frantzis is the Founder of Energy Arts and has been called the foremost Western expert in Wu style tai chi and Yang style tai chi, holding direct lineages from China. He teaches six powerful qigong sets, as well as bagua zhang and hsing-i from the martial, health, and meditation perspectives. His passion is teaching the Taoist meditation tradition, a direct path to awakening your highest potential.
Craig Barnes
Craig is a Senior Instructor in the Energy Arts system and has been practicing and teaching tai chi, qigong, meditation, and the internal arts for over 30 years. He has studied actively with Master Frantzis since 1987 and has taught his own courses all over the world. He is one of only a few instructors who have been authorized by Master Frantzis to certify instructors in his system. Craig is known for his gentle yet thorough approach, and his ability to present complex material in a direct way that makes it come to life and take root.
Lee Burkins
Lee is a Senior Instructor in the Energy Arts system. He has been a practitioner and adept of the internal martial arts since the 1980s. Lee is well-known for his skill, warmth, and engaging teaching style. He continues to practice and teach neigong qigong, tai chi chuan, ba gua zhang, and meditation daily. He lives in the Mountains of Colorado working with select students and offering outreach and training to Veterans.

Energy Gates Qigong
Learn Energy Gates Qigong for connecting the arms and legs to the torso and spine (~8 hours, filmed July 18-19, 2020).
Joining the movements of your limbs to the spine is a key element of uniting your body and enhancing both performance and healing. Bruce will be using aspects of Energy Gates Qigong to help you unify your body by connecting the arms and legs to your spine. Select material (not the entire set) of Energy Gates Qigong will be shared to help you build the internal infrastructure to effectively learn Bend the Bow.
Heaven & Earth Qigong
Learn Heaven & Earth Qigong for opening and releasing the muscles, ligaments, and joints (~8 hours, filmed July 25-26, 2020).
Heaven & Earth Qigong is one of the best possible places to begin working with the spine and joints. This opening weekend will use exercises and material sourced from Heaven & Earth Qigong to give you tools to deeply relax and mobilize your connective tissue and joints, preparing your body for the next stage of spine work in Bend the Bow Qigong.  Select material (not the entire set) of Heaven & Earth Qigong will be shared to help you build the internal infrastructure to effectively learn Bend the Bow.
Taoist Meditation
Learn Taoist Meditation for releasing the deeper emotional, mental, and energetic causes of blockages in your spine and nervous system in this (~8 hours, filmed August 1-2, 2020).
Some of the deepest imprints of our lives are remembered in our spines and nerves. Blockages in the physical, energetic, emotional, and mental layers of your spine and nervous system can dramatically affect your well being. Taoist meditation charts a clear path for resolving these deeper blockages which can have incredibly positive effects for your body and mind.
Bend the Bow Qigong
Learn Bend the Bow Spinal Qigong, – the FIRST time we have ever recorded this advanced qigong set! (~8 hours, filmed August 8-9, 2020)
The culmination of this virtual training camp will be a rare opportunity to learn some of the most sophisticated and powerful techniques for working with the spine and nerves that exist within Chinese internal arts. Though the exterior physical container of Bend the Bow Qigong looks simple, its internal technology leads a practitioner toward exceptionally subtle control of the spine while simultaneously smoothing the nervous system and energizing the entire body.

1.Four Weekend Trainings with Bruce Frantzis [~20+ Hours] 

Access direct teachings as Bruce goes live in the center over four consecutive weekends. His teachings will develop progressively each weekend building to become a comprehensive spinal (back) health, mental clarity, emotional resilience, and qi cultivation program
2. Four Weekend Trainings with Senior Instructors [~15+ Hours]

During each weekend workshop access the professional level teachings from Senior Instructors Craig Barnes and Lee Burkins. These master teachers, will provide unique practice perspectives and share invaluable personal experiences with attendees.
3. Guided Practice Sessions – Follow Along with Senior Instructors [~10+ Hours]

After each weekend course you will also have access to three guided practices sessions during the week to review and integrate what you have learned. These practices occur in between each new weekend program with different instructors so that you can follow along at your own pace. These classes will afford greater intimacy and interaction if you have questions.
